The Ketosis Quiz.

Twelve questions on ketosis, two-meal keto and 16:8 fasting. Marked as you go, every answer explained from the book — and the chapter it came from.

Question 1 of 12 Chapter 1

Loading the first question…

A knowledge quiz, not a health assessment — it can't tell you whether you are in ketosis, and it isn't medical advice. If you're pregnant, diabetic, on medication, or managing a health condition, talk to your clinician before changing how you eat.

What the questions are testing.

Numbers you can act on, not trivia. The carbohydrate ceiling, the protein anchor, the sodium range, the fasting window, the gap between the last meal and bed — these are the five figures that decide whether the first month feels manageable or miserable. Everything else is detail.

Order of operations. Several questions are really asking the same thing: when something goes wrong, what do you check first? The book has a fixed answer to that, and it is the opposite of the instinct to cut harder and fast longer.

The five phases. Each phase does one job, and each one builds what the next needs. Knowing which phase you are in tells you which lever to pull, which is most of what troubleshooting turns out to be.

Where to go next. Missed the timing questions? The Two-Meal Rhythm Planner and the Evening Protocol build your day and your night. Missed the plate questions? The Plate Builder and the Macro Calculator handle the food. Missed the electrolyte questions? Start with the electrolytes guide.

Questions.

Where do the questions come from?

All twelve come from Keto Dive itself, and every explanation names the chapter it is drawn from. Nothing here is invented for the quiz: if an answer says three to five grams of sodium a day, that is the book's figure, in the book's context.

Do I need to have read the book?

No. Around half the questions are general keto literacy that any careful reader would know. The rest are specific to the method — the five phases, the plate formula, the troubleshooting order — and the explanations teach them as you go, so a low score is a reading list rather than a verdict.

Is a low score a problem?

No. Most of what makes keto work in practice is structural rather than factual: two protein-anchored meals, no grazing, electrolytes steady, sleep protected. You can score badly here and eat well, or score perfectly and still graze all afternoon. Treat the gaps as the chapters worth reading first.

Twelve questions is the surface. The book is the method underneath it.

The five phases in full, the plate formula, the fasting framework, and the troubleshooting order that keeps a stall from becoming a restart.
